The practical rules

Use the site to learn. Check the decisions that matter.

These terms explain what My Money Matters provides, what it does not provide and the basic rules for using it.

Effective

Using the site

By using My Money Matters, you agree to use it lawfully and accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site is free to browse and the tools do not require an account. You may use the guides and calculators for your own education and ordinary personal or business administration.

Education, not a personal recommendation

Everything on the site is general information for a broad audience. It is not personalised financial, investment, tax, legal or credit advice. My Money Matters is not a financial services provider.

Your circumstances may make a general principle or calculator result inappropriate. Important decisions should be checked against current official information, your own contracts and, where useful, a suitably qualified professional.

Calculators and generated documents

Calculator results are estimates produced from your inputs and the assumptions shown on the relevant page. A result can be wrong because an input is wrong, a rule has changed or the real situation contains something the tool does not model.

The Invoice Generator helps produce a document; it does not decide whether you must register for VAT, whether VAT applies to a supply or whether the finished invoice meets every requirement that applies to you.

Accuracy and availability

Reasonable care is taken with the material, especially dated tax and regulatory figures, but no promise is made that every page will always be complete, current or error-free. Rates, laws, products and external websites can change without notice.

The site or a particular tool may occasionally be unavailable, changed or withdrawn. Browser features, blocked scripts and third-party services can also affect how a page works.

Fair use of the site

Please do not interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorised access, use it to distribute harmful code or present its work as your own. You may link to public pages. Any right to quote, copy or adapt material remains subject to applicable law and the rights in the original work.

External services and links

A link to another website is there for context or verification. It is not a guarantee of that site's content, security, availability or privacy practices. Product mentions are not paid recommendations unless clearly disclosed.

Responsibility

You remain responsible for the decisions you make and the information you enter. To the extent permitted by law, My Money Matters is not responsible for a loss caused by relying only on a page, estimate or generated document instead of checking the facts that matter to your situation.

Nothing in these terms removes a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Changes

The site and these terms may change as the resource develops. A material change to these terms should update the effective date above.

The privacy policy separately explains information processing.
